Stephen P. Cowley, M.D.

Orthopedic Surgery

Dr. Stephen P. Cowley specializes in general orthopedics with a particular interest in arthroscopy of the knee and shoulder and total joint replacements of the hip, knee and shoulder. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and has been a member of the hospital medical staff for more than 32 years.

In 1982, Dr. Cowley began his orthopedic practice in Birmingham after completing his surgical internship and orthopedic residency at the University of South Alabama Medical Center.

Jeffrey Wade, M.D.

Spine Surgery & Orthopedic Surgery

Dr. Wade is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. He is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialized in minimally invasive spinal procedures as well as arthoscopy of the knee and shoulder. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Alabama, Birmingham. Dr Wade received his medical degree from the University of Alabama, Birmingham, where he also completed his orthopaedic surgery residency. He completed a Spine Surgery Fellowship at Baylor in Houston, Texas. His specialties include neck surgery and lower back surgery.

Robert S. Wolf, M.D.

Orthopedic Surgery & Sports Medicine

Dr. Robert Wolf is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon who specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopy of the knee, shoulder and elbow, and total joint replacement. He received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine after graduating from Pennsylvania State University with an honors degree in pre-medicine. Dr. Wolf completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama. Specialties include shoulders, elbows, knees, hips, ankles, and sports medicine.
